FESTIVAL 2022 

The 24th annual festival took place on May 3-6, 2022 at Arts Court Theatre. The Audience Choice Award as well as the Jury’s Choice Award was awarded to Nuit!

Inspired by over 60 written submissions around the theme of a night out, Nuit blends big movements and recollections of drunk memories through the interdisciplinary style of dance-theatre to try to piece together what exactly happened the night before.

On the set of his “new’’ movie, a Director (who hasn’t made anything worthwhile since the 90s) wants  to remake his blockbuster film in order to profit off of its past glory. He gathers the stars of his old cast, now expecting them to bring new feelings of youth and fervour to their characters. Not everyone is up to the task.

Nuclear war has decimated planet earth and all that remains are 5 young people in an underground  bunker. Will our heroes thrive together underground, or kill each other in a rage induced by dirty dishes?

Two Separate Goodbyes

Two Separate Goodbyes is about two unassociated strangers: a middle-aged man and a teenage boy, who visit their dead loved ones, showcasing two different stages of grief. Having processed his wife’s death for nine years, the man is at a period of wanting to better himself, whereas the boy – after the new passing of his mother, is filled with anger towards her and the world.
